Minicrystal

MINICRYSTAL is a 2 year R+D project that is being funded by the EC’s Seventh Framework Programme under “Research for SMEs”. MINICRYSTAL aims to develop a objective of designing and developing a low cost power ultrasound device that can be readily used in conjunction with existing industrial freezing equipment in order to assist the freezing process and improve the quality of frozen food. The MINICRYSTAL consortium is made up of 6 industry partners and 3 RTD performers from 5 European countries.

Project Start

The MINICRYSTAL project officially started on 1st Oct. 2008. The Kick Off Meeting was held on the 6th and 7th Oct. at the facilities of Innovació i Recerca Industrial i Sostenible in Parc Mediterrani de la Tecnologia outside Barcelona.
